My name ist barbara schlachter-delgado and i’m from vienna/austria.
i’ve been into music since I was a little child and after going through different phases of musical interest and trying a lot of different approaches to realize my musical ideas, I finally ended up playing around and experimenting with my computer and different soundtools. That's when i started to release my music under the name cosmanova. First on various mp3 platforms until I met some people with similar interests and we founded the very small but very nice record-label temp-records.
Regarding to my music, i don’t want to limit myself to one certain style while producing, too diverse are the steps of my musical development, though I think it’s obvious to hear that electronica and clubmusic have had a great impact on me during the las years.

The Toxic Avenger ist ein Mysterium. Ein Maskenmann, benannt nach einem der "Superheroes" aus der Werkstatt der Trash-Film-Institution Troma. Ein "Pokerface" mit einem Faible für Comix-Welten (stylewise) und Maximal Knarzage (soundwise) - einer, dem die "Saloperie de minimale" zuwider war und der sein "Escape" fand, indem er ein Electro-Exzessler, ja, ein Ed Banger wurde, ohne dafür beim gleichnamigen Label anstreifen zu müssen.
So, bevor hier noch mehr Songtitel gedroppt werden - und die Versuchung ist bei rund zwei Dutzend Toxic-Remixen in den letzten beiden Jahren nicht gering: Lieber der erfreuliche Hinweis darauf, dass wir den vielumworbenen Mystery Man aus Paris zwischen zwei US-Gastspielen für einen Live-Auftritt - seinen ersten in Österreich - bei Pola-Riot gewinnen konnten. Get intoxicated!

Shitdisco DJ-Set Joe Reeves & Darren Cullen werden in Wien ein DJ-Set präsentieren. Die Band im allgemeinen gilt als Miterfinder des New Raves & des Disco House [falls das wirklich ein Musikstil ist]. Das Set ist sehr empfehlenswert und die Jungs werden in der Bude ordentlich einheizen.
