About Cosmic Jesters

Hi we are The Cosmic Jesters. Originally formed because we wanted a hobby turned out to be something more. Originally a four piece band conisisting Max Aldridge, Tom Bentley, Tom Day and Davey Edwards. Now a three piece band consisting Tom Bentley, Tom Day and Tom Blomfield. Things didnt really kick off till summer 2007 when the band saw the departure of Davey and previously Max. Max left the band because things weren't working out. While, Davey left because of creative differences. Davey was overwhelmed by the fact that his other band mates did not want to do sugababes covers. Davey has now formed his own one man band Uter-us which its influences are mainly leona lewis and things that make you want to kill yourself. We can all agree an interesting combination. After Davey's departure we saw the start of Tom Blomfield. Originally, we thought it would be funny to have a band with members all called Tom, however the novelty has worn off. For a guy whos only 12 he isnt half bad. By February 2008, we decided to actually finish some material and produce any type of recording to please the people who have been moaning at us for a year to get some songs up. On 24th February we recorded our first 'kinda EP'. We're hoping to record properly soon. On April 10th we closed the door to lame school concerts and played our first proper gig at the Panic Promotion BOTB. For our first gig it was pretty amazing and we hope all other gigs are just as good or even better. Also a big thanks to all that attended the gig. Now were in search of more gigs and hopefully book some time in a studio and record some stuff.
