When not ticklin' those ivories---I cast astrology charts. Psy-strology I call it. I have a passion for peeling away the layers of an individual's psychological onion (including my own!) and discovering our soul agreements in this lifetime and beyond. We are all connected as part of the Universal Consciousness so my layers are yours and yours are mine. I also love all things that would be termed I presume "gothic". Cemetaries (especially at night under a full moon), spooky old atmospheric houses, hearses, historical places with a tainted past ;-), and of course historical gothic cathedrals. Experience LA

Also adore and admire the music of Leonard Bernstein, John Adams, Martin Loridsen, Danny Elfman, Phillip Glass, Pachebel, Pucccini, Sir Edward Elgar. For playing classical organ---hands down J.S. BooksI Love Anne Rice's enticing sensual writing especially in Interview With the Vampire and Feast of All Saints. These days my path is so obsessively entrenched in all things psy-astrological---Liz Greene especially, numerological, and soul path-logical that my library is bursting at the seams with books on those subjects---add all the previous books and my entire house is filled with books and reading materials of all kinds--which is a wonderful thing!

I love all kinds of ballroom dancing, but swing and latin are my favorites. I learned the Cha-Cha at age 6 when I went with my mom to one of the ballroom dance classes she was teaching, and I've been dancing ever since!

Diana is mourning her mom's passing. She entered the Light Tues morning, July 28. She and my father are dancing once again. Posted at 10:21 AM Aug 1

I LOVE variety!!! I am a romantic at heart, being the artiste that I am. I also love to travel, attend cultural events (especially involving all styles of music)--they all fall under the title of "research" since I'm always finding a new piece of music through those concerts to play or an inspiring new way to lend a new interpretation to something already in my repertoire. I also am a ballroom/swing dancer and have performed in numerous shows over the years as a partner dancer. And when not tripping the lights fantastic, I can be found making a living on the other side of the stage in the "pit" playing keyboards and/or directing. I also love playing in bands---have kind of been doing this "backwards" these last few years--while a lot of teenagers were living their defiant years playing in rock bands only to give that all up to live what society calls a "normal life" (i.e.---making more $--how many people are living "the American Dream" and so sadly feeling like they have a huge noose around their neck?), I was practicing classical piano to get ready for college and ballroom dancing! Now that I'm firmly entrenched in those fields, I've been spending the last few years playing in different rock bands and refining those skills. I've also always loved boogie woogie and stride piano (Joanne Castle inspired a lot of young pianists to learn that style!) and am currently working on refining that style into my technique. I have always had the great blessing of being able to make a decent living as a freelance musician which people are always reminding me is so rare to be able to do in L.A. But it's all I've ever done for a living and so I can't even imagine not making a living solely in this field. This leads into my strong belief that you truly will get out of life exactly what you expect! I've also been a student of Astrology (I like to call it PSYstrology since to know one's chart is to understand so much about one's psyche and why we are how we are ;-) ) for over 25 years. Right along with that is my study of Spirituality in all its many forms leading down that path of ever growing Awareness and soul growth, which is all with the ultimate goal of bringing us back eventually to perfect union with the SOURCE. The world is our classroom :-).
You are Brigitte Bardot
Naurally sensual and beautiful
You're an exotic beauty who turns heads everywhere
You've got a look that's one of a kind
Your Rising Sign is Leo
You are confident, self-assured, and more than a little vain.
And you have a flair for the dramatic - whether you're on stage or causing trouble.

Your spirit can't stay in one place very long.
You like to live in new places and travel the world.

Cultured and sophisticated, you pride yourself on having good taste.
You are an expert in art, music, food, and film.
Your Life Path Number is 3
Your purpose in life is to express your unique self.

You are a creative and artistic person with an interesting view on life.
Witty and outgoing, you enjoy sharing your crazy ideas with anyone who will listen.
A total social butterfly, you're the life of any party.

In love, you inspire and enchant your partner. You are often an object of fantasy and desire.

While you are very talented, you sometimes lack the ambition to put your talents in play.
And while your wit carries you a long way, you occasionally use it to mask your true feelings.
Your natural abilities can bring you all the success in the world ... if you let them
The Keys to Your Heart
You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.

In love, you feel the most alive when your lover is creative and never lets you feel bored.

You'd like to your lover to think you are stylish and alluring.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless, cold-blooded, and sarcastic.

Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.

You think of marriage something you've always wanted... though you haven't really thought about it.

In this moment, you think of love as commitment. Love only works when both people are totally devoted.

You Are 90% Psychic
You are so very psychic.
But you already predicted that, didn't you?
You have "the gift" - and you use it daily to connect with others.
You're very tapped into the world around you...
Just make sure to use your powers for good!
You Are Smokin' Hot
You're a terrible flirt, a sharp dresser, and a party animal.
Of course, you're totally sizzling too. And for you, being hot just comes naturally.
Diana by Micha F. Lindemans The Roman goddess of nature, fertility and childbirth. She is closely identified with the Greek goddess Artemis. Diana is also a moon-goddess and was originally worshipped on the mountain Tifata near Capua and in sacred forests (such as Aricia in Latium). Her priest lived in Aricia and if a man was able to kill him with a bough broken from a tree in this forest, he would become priest himself 1. Also torch-bearing processions were held in her honor here. Later she was given a temple in the working-class area on the Aventine Hill where she was mainly worshipped by the lower class (plebeians) and the slaves, of whom she was the patroness. Slaves could also ask for asylum in her temple. Her festival coincided with the idus (13th) of August. Diana was originally a goddess of fertility and, just as Bona Dea, she was worshipped mainly by women as the giver of fertility and easy births. Under Greek influence she was equated with Artemis and assumed many of her aspects. Her name is possibly derived from 'diviana' ("the shining one"). She is portrayed as a huntress accompanied by a deer. Diana was also the goddess of the Latin commonwealth. 1. Details of the ritual are described in "The Golden Bough" by Sir James George Frazer. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You Are The Magician
You are powerful and wise - beyond what anyone can see.
Deeply complex, you have the resources to connect to the spiritual and material world.
You posses the knowledge to manipulate your life and the lives around you.
You also have a great healing power, should you choose to use it.

Your fortune:

You have unhidden powers that you have yet to tap into.
Soon, you will better understand how to use your intellect and intuition.
Believe it or now, you will discover how you can manipulate yourself and others for good.
You are at the beginning of a path of spiritual enlightenment.
You Are Strength
You represent both fiery energy and steadfast will.
You are innocent and naive - yet unafraid and undaunted.
Perhaps you don't have the most powerful physical strength...
But your mental powers make up for any amount of muscle.

Your fortune:

Lately, you have been a pillar of ethics and moral strength.
And while things may be difficult, your faith in yourself will come through.
You may need to conquer the animalistic nature of yourself or others, with gentle force.
Although this may seem like the darkest hour for you, victory is near.
The Part of You That No One Sees
You are passionate, romantic, and emotional.
You put love first in your life, even though you have often been disappointed by it.
You expect to be swept off your feet, and you never expect infatuation to die out.

Underneath it all, you are scared that you aren't lovable.
Your insecurity has ruined many relationships, as you are unable to see the love that's really there.
You are secretly afraid of being alone. Confronting your insecurities is incredibly painful.

Who I'd like to meet:
Fellow Musicians, Artists, travelers on the physical as well as mental and spiritual planes. People that enjoy variety and take a definite glass half full view towards life! Also fellow Astrologers, Numerologists, Paganists, Wiccans, Hypnotherapists, Buddhists, Past Life Regressors and those on the path of "Enlightenment"--(i.e. Truth!). Interestingly I've made a major part of my living as Organist/Pianist for several Churches of different denominations over the years (presently a Roman Catholic Church---which I'm very grateful for in many ways--obviously financially--yea to large amounts of masses, all those extra holy days and weddings!---but also for the many styles of music I'm playing there--everything from traditional and classical organ to rock and gospel piano with the band) and though I am "Spiritual" as opposed to "Religious" (those of you on the path of Spiritual Enlightment know the big difference between the 2!) I can see a unifying factor between all these different religions if they can just get beyond all their dogma and petty judgemental differences of each other---that unifying factor that we are all aspiring towards is---Universal and Unconditional Love. Plain and simple--it's the place our souls are ultimately trying to get us to. So obviously I connect with people who not only "get" what I've been talking about up there, but also embrace it with a passion!!! ___________________________________________________________ ----------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------------------------------___________________________________________________________ -------My dance mentor Cyd Charisse's classic numbers in The Band Wagon.
