During the late 90’s two of Tampa Bay’s top bands, Burning Sky and Mother Hubbard, shared a double show in Largo. The members found a mutual respect for each other at the gig and crossed paths many times over the years until the bands broke up. The remaining members formed COSMIC VOODOO. After performing together for several years, in 2004 their original drummer was replaced by Kevin Lindsay, drummer/vocalist from several other area bands, such as The Snow, Usual Suspects and Superclone.
Bringing years of stage experience to the table, the four-member band has compiled a unique selection of songs that take the listener through a diverse range of rock and funk styles. With three lead vocalists, drums, bass, and two guitarist/keyboardists in the group, COSMIC VOODOO creates an ever-changing musical tapestry that continues to hold the attention of patrons who come to see them show after show.
