Cosmic Wobble is a band that is said to exist in Northern California. Cosmic Wobble plays music that is distinguished by its solid rhythmatic time signatures, extended improvisations, catchy choruses, and breathtaking segues.
Since Cosmic Wobble is a band, a life, and a sound, it is not a group of
individuals. It is believed to have been conceived of two drummers, two guitarists, one keyboardist, and a bassist. Fans disagree on the names and numbers said to comprise the "Wobble"(depending on time and place witnessed), however, Victor, Ben, Ben, Si, Rick, Mike, Clay, and Toby, among others, have been cited as members. Fans and dancers have also been said to be members, as perhaps they must be, to endure 4-8 hours of constant dancing that is a staple of a Cosmic Wobble experience.
Cosmic Wobble developed a faithful following by being ubiquitous and intrepid in all of its endeavors. Blizzards don't keep the Wobble from performing, even if it's a free, or even illegal gig. These are the gigs that seem to bring the best out of the live spontaneity Wobble fans rely on.
The disbanding of Cosmic Wobble in 2005 was one of personal perseverance for the future Wobble to come. Clay, Ben and the other Ben are dusting the songs off from being on the shelf for three years and have some new shiny tunes to experience with you soon. The power trio has refined the Wobble sound to a condensed hard hitting rock-ska-pop-punk-funk-frazzled-improv-blob that stays in the realms of just three dudes and some effects of course! To have your mind blown, beg, borrow or steal a listen of these crazy folks or catch them live when you can.

I love you guys, even though I never get to see you anymore, my circuit keeps me out east most of the time I wish I could spin out to the live versions of my favorites again but for now I have to settle on the ones that have made it to the Ipod.
