Cosmodemonic Telegraph formed as an off-shoot of the long running independent small imprint Hozomeen Press (publishers of books by Lee Ranaldo of Sonic Youth, Casey Cyr, Black Pig Liberation Front, Ron Whitehead, Jordan Green, Ellis Death, Rich Freitas, Rich Martin and many others) in 2000 to release 'Tea at the Palaz of Hoon', a 2cd set featuring bands that had played at a small club run by the collective named T>A>Z (the Temporary Autonomous Zone after the book and writings by Hakim Bey). Since that time the label has focused on the home grown talent of New London Connecticut where it is based with releases from the Can Kickers, Quiet Life, Ringers, Low-Beam, Incognito Sofa Love, the Cavities and two 'Towers of New London' compilations (featuring many acts from the scene).
