Cosmopolitan Dream first encounter with music production took place in 2001. The band Bran Van 3000 released their second CD entitled Discosis and they had a remix contest on the Acid Planet web site for the song Astounded. Not knowing a thing about music software and music production, he downloaded the software, the loops (musical parts) and tried to put this all together! He never sent his remixes because they were bad!!!
But he kept playing with the softwares, trying new tricks, improving his technique. When he told his girlfriend at the time that he'd like to produce a CD she tried to discourage him, saying that he wasn't good enough. Well now, a couple of years later, with that girl way behind him, Cosmopolitan Dream now offers you his music.
La première rencontre entre Cosmopolitan Dream et la production musicale eut lieu en 2001 lors de la sortie de l'album Discosis du groupe Bran Van 3000. Il y avait un concours de remix sur le site web Acid Planet. Ne connaissant strictement rien à la production musicale, il téléchargea le logiciel et les échantillons musicaux et essaya tant bien que mal de remixer la pièce. Il n'envoya jamais son remix pour le concours tant il le trouvait mauvais.
Mais il ne se laissa pas décourager et continua d'expérimenter avec le logiciels et améliora sa technique. Lorsqu'il dit à sa copine de l'époque qu'il aimerait produire un CD, elle essaya de le décourager, lui disant qu'il n'était pas assez bon. Maintenant, quelques années plus tard et cette copine loin derrière lui, Cosmopolitan Dream vous offre maintenant sa musique.
