Fran Cosmo the former lead singer of the band Boston is touring and peroming with
Anthony Cosmo, former guitarist and songwriter of the band Boston, perorming all the greatest hits as
well as the New Hits from the 2006 Frontiers records release, "Alien", which garnered high acclaim
throughout Europe and Asia and was Voted one of the top records of the year by Melodic Rock.com.
Night after night show rooms and festivals are packed with standing room only crowds. With ticket
sales in the tens of thousands Fran Cosmo is a MUST SEE in the world of live Rock and Roll shows.
Fran is also writing and recording new material for the upcoming Fran Cosmo world wide release.
2007- Fran played to audiences too neumerous to count, preparing for the world wide performances
to take place in the 2008 tour.

Fran Cosmo recorded and released "Alien" under the Frontiers Records Label.
2004-
Fran Cosmo's band concept began following the Boston tour of 2004, With Fran and Anthony Cosmo
teaming up for what ultimately became the 2006 world wide release of the record Alien under the
Frontiers record label. The album "Alien"
1991-
Tom Scholz, the mastermind behind the band Boston,
after creating 3 successful albums, was ready to begin recording release number four - Walk On.
Boston vocalist Brad Delp was busy with his side project RTZ. So when the call from Tom Scholz
came, Fran took the next step in his musical evolution and accepted the invitation to become the
new lead vocalist for Boston (Walk On). What followed was Brad Delp rejoining Boston, >
both Fran and Brad singing side by side sharing vocal duties on two Boston albums and live
tours. Fran sang on Boston's "Corporate America" album and helped produce three of the songs on
that same album. Fran was also featured on Boston's "Greatest Hits" album. All of this has allowed
Fran Cosmo to bring his vocal talents to millions world wide.
1984-
A young rock vocalist named Fran Cosmo joined forces with Barry Goudreau, guitarist for a group which
became one of the cornerstones of the American "classic rock" genre - Boston. Not only was this a
major evolutionary step in the rock-n-roll career of Fran, but also the formation of a musical wormhole,
extending toward the future. Orion the Hunter, as the new group would name themselves, produced
their self titled album and hit single "So You Ran" (written by Fran Cosmo and Barry Goudreau).
The song became a instant AOR radio hit & popular video on the then fledgling MTV, Friday Night
Videos and various other music video programs.
Shortly thereafter Fran's band was invited on a US tour with
the critically acclaimed band Aerosmith for the "Back in the Saddle" Tour
* It should also be noted
that in between Orion The Hunter and Boston, guitarist Michael Schenker saw Fran on MTV and on
tour with Orion the Hunter, he then contacted Fran to write new material with the intentions of
forming a new group with Fran as the lead vocalist. Unfortunately, due to other obligations, this
line up disbanded after approximately seven months

"In 1984, a remarkable record was released by the name of Orion The Hunter, the self-titled first (and only) album by a short-lived band featuring BOSTON’s Barry Goudreau and a promising young vocalist, Fran Cosmo. The album is still considered a major AOR release. After the band’s demise, Cosmo briefly worked with Michael Schenker, before joining BOSTON. It is very nice to hear Fran Cosmo back at work now, this time with the band COSMO, a band he put together with his son Antonio, Mick Brooks, Bill Carman and Pat Orlowski.
Fans of the ORION THE HUNTER or BOSTON album will immediately recognize Cosmo’s voice, which is as strong as ever, although at times he sounds much more aggressive here. But at the same time this is a quite different album. This is more of a modern, grungy take on melodic rock. Don’t worry, though, there’s still a lot of great melodies and excellent harmonies, but if you expect BOSTON or ORION, you might be a bit disappointed.
‘Communication’ is a heavy, groovy rocker, which sounds like KINGDOM COME. I tend to prefer the more melodic tracks, like ‘Alien’, ‘When I Close My Eyes’, ‘Can’t Run Away’, ‘Don’t Tell Me Your Lies’ and the nice ballad ‘Helicopter’. The dark and grungy ‘Creep’ is definitely another highlight, though. Not all songs are winners, but then there’s more than enough fine music to enjoy here.
A very nice album. I certainly hope to hear this wonderful singer more in the future, because his great vocals have featured on far too few albums."
