If it hasn't been mentioned above...I probably couldn't think of anymore. Recently it's just going out with friends to go dancing and have a good time. I also love to cook, and am pretty good at Filipino, Japanese, Thai, and Italian. I enjoy being creative, and as much as possible bringing ideas to life through my cosplay.
I've also started working out again, and not just Dance Dance Revolution either. I'm pretty proud of myself. Highly into Turbo Jam, and just hanging out at the gym for a few hours.
I also like to read every chance I get. I love playing RPGs (I've always had an unhealthy obsession with the Final Fantasy series, hence the name MOGchelle) and games involving zombies, like Resident Evil, Dead Rising and such. I'm good at rhythm games, like DDR (of course), Para Para Paradise, guitar hero (still think my fingers are too short to play though), Rock Band, Taico drum master, and Donkey Konga! It's just hard to find time anymore. But it's either play video games or spend time with my son, and I choose my boy!
Dancing of course, international style Latin (cha cha, rumba), salsa, merengue, quickstep, paso.
Music
Just about anything I can dance to. Never been big on country...
I mostly dig punk, ska, industrial, emo, and have recently started to take interest in raggaeton and some hip hop, and anything with a fast latin beat.
Movies
Boondock Saints, Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter anything, Battle Royale, Serenity, Star Wars, almost anything sci-fi, love B movies, and almost anything with some cheese factor, or WTF factor. I've been getting into Asian movies lately as well such as Old Boy (highly recommend this one and so does Quinten Tarantino according to the box), Sympathy for Lady Vengeance (which you should watch BEFORE Old Boy), Strange Circus. After watching films like that it's no wonder they're being remade in the U.S. They're just so imaginative, and full of intrigue.
Television
Family Guy, Simpsons, ATHF, Robo Chicken, um...I guess almost anything on adult swim, other than that I don't really watch much TV, oh and Firefly, Star Gate SG1 and Atlantis. My latest guilty pleasure are the dance competition shows like Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance. And I kept telling myself I would never watch those reality type competition shows.
Books
Harry Potter's, Chronicles of Narnia, bunches of manga like Angel Sanctuary, Paradise Kiss, Nana, Chobits, Death Note and Air Gear are my new current obsessions (honestly just to name a few)...the list goes on and have like hundreds of manga on my shelves.
But I also like comics, sci-fi, fantasy, and a bunch of children's/adolescent books like Twilight, New moon, Series of Unfortunate Events.
I also love Memoirs of a Geisha, Star Wars novels, sheesh...too many...always reading every chance I get! I still have like a shelf or 2 of books I haven't even HAD time to read yet.
Well, I really suck at about me sections, my train of thought alone tends to be one HUGE run on sentence...but here goes...
I’m a mother of 1, never thought it would happen. Never knew it would be so amazing! He’s such a handsome, happy boy! I’m so proud of him. I’m totally in love with his father who’s such an amazing man in many ways that I could just go on for days about. He's good looking, and kind, accepts me for the silly person that I am...quirks, and all.
I’m originally from Guam, and am half Filipino/half Caucasian. Had to get that out of the way…but too many people seem to ask what I am. I seem to get asked a lot if I'm Puerto Rican, or Chinese (??? I don't understand that one at ALL) But I'm mixed and proud of it.
I’m a pretty easy going, and a genuinely caring person, who enjoys having a good time. I'm also a very intelligent person as well, and absolutely adore anyone who can hold long conversations with me. And a BIG bonus if they just so happen to be intelligent conversations!
I’ve always loved dancing, and am so excited that I have the opportunity to start again. I’m currently learning/dancing salsa, merengue, mambo, and bachata at 1 studio, and International Latin (Jive, Paso Doble, Cha-cha, Rumba,) and International Ballroom (Quickstep, Tango so far) at another. I’m having so much fun with all of it! I grew up dancing jazz and modern, and some ballet. But now that I am older, and have taken a nice 10 year break from dancing, I am more intrigued by the ballroom styles. I'm in love with international style Latin now! I can't wait until I can master the Samba. I’ve also recently joined up with 2 performance groups. I’m on a mambo team, and an all ladies salsa team. Of the 2, I’m finding the ladies salsa team to be a little more challenging since I haven’t done choreography work in a long time, that doesn’t require a partner. And granted I’m not a salsa groupie, nor do I know any of the all-stars, but so far I’ve been able to work with some very talented people who I’m very happy to have met.
I’m also HUGE into anime, manga, video games, and my most expensive addiction to date…cosplaying! I’ve won a bunch of awards from best construction to judges choice, and have been pictured and even interviewed in several magazines like Newtype and Animerica. I was so excited to get back into this hobby after having Dominic. So yes, that means I still frequent conventions and the like, I have made so many friends in the anime and video game industry that I couldn’t NOT attend any I’m invited to, it's the most socialization I get to partake of anymore. Of course my son and honey come with me to some of them, Brandon to most as he has been helping out in the exhibit halls alot for Anime Depot. Maybe someday my costume work will lead me to something more. It would be amazing to do something outside of convention work!
In general, I am just really easy to get along with, I have nothing but whole hearted love for my family and friends, and that's just me...
If you feel like I've left something out...just ask...
Who I'd like to meet: New friends around town to have good times with. Mostly trying to keep in touch the best I can with old friends though, and finding them. Possible dance partners for practice. People who like to create things are also a plus!
