  • Sounds Like

Based in the fictional town of Cottonmouth, Texas this short film is actually collection of four individual snapshots into the life of "Chate", an uninspired writer who seems stuck in a mindless quagmire of television and pot. Written by Dallas spoken word artist Jeffrey Liles, this work is a meditative study in southern slack. Portland filmmaker Chel White directs with a keen nuance of geography, an almost surreal sense of junk imagery- quite an achievement given the format. All four of the short stories were taken from the Cottonmouth, Texas albums "Anti-Social Butterfly", "White Trash Receptacle", and "The Right to Remain Silent". .. width="425" height="350">.......... .. .. .. .. ......>

I dig it. Picked up a radio station cut at a local Goodwill by curiosity a few days ago. Great shit, liked the "Only play #4 (edit) No! "Titties," note.
