About me:

Hi, my name is Cotton Rohrscheib. I am a partner / co-founder of Pleth Networks, LLC, http://pleth.com, an Arkansas based technology firm. We specialize in high-end web and application development. We also offer managed hosting, vps solutions, and business class email. Our corporate office is located in Batesville, Arkansas but I live in Conway with my lovely wife Donna. I have been involved in the web / software industry in some capacity since 1995.

In 2001, while working as the IT director for a conference center / property management / real estate firm in the Ozarks I started Powersite Design http://powersitedesign.com. Powersite specialized in web & application development solutions primarily for small business and real estate clients. As a result of working closely with hosting provider Utility Media, http://utilitymedia.com, my client base quickly grew to several hundred clients. This eventually positioned me to purchase another design, development and managed hosting firm in 2004 to enter into the hosting industry. As Powersite continued to grow at an amazing rate, I realized quickly that I was going to have to add additional employees and infrastructure at some point to continue to grow. It was then that an opportunity presented itself for myself and two business partners (Greg and Stephen Smart) to start Pleth Networks, LLC. Today Powersite exists as a brand for software that I have written for various vertical industries such as Real Estate and Health Care. The rest is history...

Over the past few years that we have been in business Pleth has seen "better than average" growth as a development firm and that has allowed us to expand our service offerings to include managed hosting, vps solutions, and our flagship business class email solution. We have also dabbled in the gaming industry in the past as GigaBeast Games but eventually put that project on the backburner so we could stay on top of our core development services. One other service that we have been fortunate enough to spin off from Pleth Networks is EzCYA, http://ezcya.com, which is an online disaster recovery / ftp backup service. In 2007 we purchased some real estate in Batesville, Arkansas and opened our corporate headquarters on Reynolds Avenue, across from White River Medical Center. We currently have expanded our infrastructure to include an awesome server administrator, a few additional freelance developers, and a awesome "Addy award winning" graphic artist. These additions to our infrastructure have allowed us to increase our service offerings to include virtual private server solutions for design firms and enterprise clients that do not want to manage their own servers internally.  With the addition of the new Graphic Artist, we have also added print media to our list of service offerings. This past year Pleth won an award for web development at the Northeast Arkansas Ad Federation Banquet in Jonesboro and one our clients was recognized nationally as a direct result of our health care web development solutions. Our network continues to grow and we will soon be adding a marketing consultant and video production studio to our list of service offerings, stay tuned to the Pleth Networks Corporate Blog for details, http://pleth.com/corporate_blog/

In 2005, I was married to Donna Michelle Holden. We met through a mutual friend and dated for almost a year before getting married. We continued to live in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas near Greers Ferry Lake for the next 2 years or so while I served on a few boards and commissions.  Eventually I closed my office there and sold our condo to move to Conway. We built a home here about 2 years ago and both really enjoy living here. I typically work from my home office and occasionally travel to our Batesville office for meetings and collaboration on projects with my partners and development team.

My wife Donna is a full-time housewife, taking care of me is a full-time job. We are active members of The Church Alive, http://thechurchalive.org, where Donna is on the praise team and I manage the church website. We both also assist with Revolution Student Ministry, http://revolutionministry.org, from time to time as sponsors / leaders.  I also manage the website for Damon Thompson, http://damonthompson.com, a good friend who has a very dynamic and growing ministry. When I am not sitting behind my keyboard writing code or researching projects, I enjoy perfecting my BBQ skills and landscaping.

I am not a frequent MySpace or Facebook user, I usually login a few times a week to check for messages, etc. However, I do update my personal website and blog, http://cottonrohrscheib.com, on an almost daily basis with technical posts, photos, and videos so that is usually the best way to contact me. Since MySpace, Facebook, and other social networks have continued to grow over the past few years I created this account to become more familiar with these platforms. This also helps me to consult my clients as well as developing solutions that will cross over and produce results for them in the social networking landscape. Social Networking Portals like MySpace, Facebook, and even micro-blogging services like Twitter are of particular interest to me from a development perspective. I am also interested in a couple of open source projects like Wordpress and MODx CMS, which is a PHP/MySQL framework. I would be interested in connecting and networking with other developers who share similar interests in social networks and open source software.

This past year my business partners and I also invested in our first "online property" after building several hundred successful launches for our clients over the years. NASCARVIEW, an online Nascar Fan Website and News Portal, http://nascarview.com that is continuously gaining momentum and sparking interest in the NASCAR community, hopefully it will one day provide us with a return on our investment. I am a die-hard NASCAR fan and would be interested in networking with other NASCAR Fans on here as well, especially Mark Martin fans (he is one of our clients). I also have a couple of "blogger" and "moderator" positions available for the NASCARVIEW community project if anyone is interested, please drop me a note to let me know...
