Deandra Williams a.k.a. Countre Black was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. To two hard working Hustlers. My mother Charlesetta was left to raise me alone when my real father was incarcerated. He is still serving a life-sentence Dennis Robinson, well-known drug lord and pimp in the 60s and 70s in Harlem. He finally got caught up after years of drugs, sex, and murders. My mom kept it pushing and moved back to Jacksonville, Fl. There she met the man that has always been my father figure until we lost him to the system. Off and on, as things got worst, MOMS held us down and never wanted anything in return. She handled a few bad relationships and overcame them. I've been singing since I could talk and I grew up seeing so much that I always had something to write about. Most of my songs derived from things that I really been through. My mother found a few of my raps and threw them out, she felt like I was throwing her business in the streets, see my mom at one point in her life and my father had issues with substance abuse, I saw and lived so much street shit so that's what I wrote. I never condemned her for it or passed any judgment, she held us down regardless and today she's a God fearing hard working housewife and she taught me a lot. I moved out and hit the streets when I turned 18 took a couple of trips up the road stacked up my change and kept writing. My music is my HEART; I stayed in the STUDIO, and even did a small tour with 95 south. They gave me my first shot but it was hard to leave the streets. I was so caught up in my money it almost killed me. One night, a few years ago, this dude followed me home and tried to kill to me. I fought hard as I could and screamed for help. He finally got tired of fighting with me, threw me to the ground and took off. I filed a report. The police caught him and discovered that he had killed three women. I was blessed. That's when I really started to go for it I figure I'm here for a reason. I hit California and its been popping ever since. I've collaborated with a few well-known artists and it's been a blessing. Get ready World, I'm here now!
