About me:
I'm Jeremy - 37th trip around the Sun (1969 model year) - 5'9 240 - Just a normal guy makin his way through life. Always ready for great friends and lookin for a great single man who would be interested in seeing if we would be worth each others time. I like softball, Kansas State and Big XII football, country music, Texas Music, Goood food, workin around my house, working on learning more secrets to great BBQ, hangin with my friends, camping, hiking, going hunting with my dad (amazing how you can get 3 days alone with your dad n brother with no interrruptions, you can't beat the experience).
I believe that a great friend is something that is nurtured over time, and something to be cherished.
I believe great food is something you prepare yourself and share with friends or family, not something you grab from the frozen food aisle at the store, or pick up from a restaurant.
I believe in getting my hands dirty, doing a job, making something work, learning what makes something tick, rather than just writing a check and never taking the opportunity to learn.
I like being who i am, not who someone wants me to be, not being a Character in a Role. I believe that being Jeremy is what i am destined to be, and its what i've come to do best best. I know I have flaws, and I deal with those every day. I appreciate those who see themselves for their own value and do their best to be who they are every day.
You'll learn a lot about yourself by learning what your families did to get where you are today. My ancestry is 50% German, 25% Welsh and 25%... well, there's lots of stories there... My Dad's family started in Germany and moved to Russia and then headed for the USA in the 1800s. They passed through Ellis Island NY and headed for the plains of Kansas. They Landed out near Victoria Kansas, where they were active members in their church, St Fidelis.
http://www.stfidelischurch.com/MV2base.asp My Great Grandfather traded his 80 acres near Victoria for 160 acres near Sitka, in Clark County. My Grandfather headed off to Wichita where he met my Grandmother. Her family history has not been as documented as my Grandfather's, although her heritage is fully German as well. My Great Grandma had a brother, Charlie Dunn, who made quite a name for himself as a Bootmaker here in Austin, TX. It's interesting to be here in the same city as he was.
