CMT's Country Countdown USA is the only weekly radio show that features a major country star co-host every week. The co-host joins Lon Helton as they count down the week's Top 30. Along the way, the co-host tells funny and personal stories about the other artists in the chart. Lon Helton has hosted CMT's Country Countdown USA since its inception in 1992. Lon is also the editor & publisher of Country Aircheck, a country music trade publication, and is also the editor of the Mediabase Country Chart, which is used in Country Countdown USA.
