From the most passionate R & B soul to the grittiest country rock, Bird's voice cuts a path through nearly every musical genre on a nightly basis. A rare few vocalists can pull off songs from Sinatra, Elvis, Diamond, Brooks & Dunn and even Metallica or Alan Jackson in one night, equally spot on, but on a good night, Jonny Bird will make you wonder if he's lip synching to the original artist. Equally comfortable in a ballcap, fedora or his trademark Black Cowboy hat, Bird will be sure to amaze even the critics in the crowd.

Born in Ontario, Canada, but growing up in Minnesota, Jonny Bird has always had music in his life. From his mother singing all around the house as he grew up, to pounding on the antique upright piano he got as a kid, music has shaped his world.
On a dare by a buddy in the ninth grade, he left a study hall class and met with the High School Swing Choir director unannounced, and auditioned for the group. When the director was duly impressed, he became the only Freshman in the group, and the first four year member upon graduation.

While in college and headed to a law degree, his life took a detour because of his love of independence and music. Starting out with private parties, bar and and nightclubs as a DJ, Jonny followed up by starting up his own company, Birdland Productions. Music became not only his passion, but his career.

Jonny added Karaoke to the shows, and his singing impressed crowds more and more. This urged Jonny to take his career to the next level. In late 2004, Jonny worked with a talented group of studio musicians including the founder of Prince's New Power Generation, Levi Seacer Jr. Together with Seacer, he produced his debut album, "Crackin' The Egg." The seven song EP consisted of five original songs and two cover songs, including one written specifically for the movie "Michael Moore Hates America," a witty documentary by Minnesota filmmaker, Michael Wilson.
Currently, Jonny is performing and promoting his current single and video "No Boundaries," while continuing to write new material. Look for the "No Boundaries," enhanced three-song single in stores, and request it at your favorite country music radio station!
