About me:

When you step into the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum, you will be embarking on a trip through decades of country music history in this architecturally-stunning building, which stretches over an entire block of Nashville with its exhibits that are sure to thrill any fan of the genre. A towering wall of honor features displays of every gold and platinum record to hit the country music charts, as well as exhibits dedicated to the music trailblazers and legends who have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. The 40,000-square-foot museum also features rare recordings, memorabilia, and special traveling exhibits. You can also catch a show at the state-of-the-art Ford Theater, which is housed on the grounds of the museum.

Who I'd like to meet:

Let us take you on a journey through country music history with Sing Me Back Home, our permanent exhibit. This includes all the things that gives country music its special place in American culture. The rhinestone costumes, vintage instruments, tear-stained lyric sheets, and of course the music itself helps to tell the story. We evoke memories that get you talking. Our museum isn’t a quiet, stuffy experience. It’s a place that’s alive with music and the emotions it generates. From 1957 to 1977 the magic of Studio B lent itself to the recording of more than 35,000 songs. Nearly 1,000 became some of the biggest hits in music history. "Are You Lonesome Tonight?" by Elvis Presley, "Kiss An Angel Good Morning" by Charlie Pride, "Only The Lonely" by Roy Orbison, and "I Will Always Love You" by Dolly Parton are just a few of the milestone recordings that got their start at Studio B. A visit to the studio gives you an up-close look at how hits were produced. Tours of Historic RCA Studio B depart daily from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The tours are available only in conjunction with museum admission. Roundtrip transportation from the museum to the studio on Music Row is included in the price of your Studio B admission. Studio B is more than a place. It's a vibe that touched the writers, performers, producers and engineers who worked there.
