country of last things was founded 2006 by christian staudacher and daniel bemberger. both are musicians since nearly twelve years. staudacher played as guitar player and singer in bands like tontraeger or parabol (album:"sorry satellite" / schoenwetter 2005). bemberger is a minimal house producer since seven years and released a couple of ep´s and one album on labels like sub static or background records (album:"peron" / background records 2004). both were a little bit bored by producing genre music over the years and decided to start something new: country of last things, a trial of mixing the roughness of guitar sounds with subtle electronic beat and sound structures. a soundtrack for a desert trip on very slow drugs.....
