Country Town Collective is a collective of musicians based in Darwin, Australia, with band members based in both Darwin and Adelaide.
Plugged as everything from alt-folk and country to roots music, old school rock and roll, Beatles-esque and a lot in between the band has become a fixture in the local music scene in Darwin and plays regularly at local venues in Darwin and community events.
Along with other Darwin bands Country Town Collective coordinated Long Way To The Top End for the 2009 Adelaide Fringe, where 12 of Darwin's original bands took over the Wheatsheaf Hotel in Thebarton for 5 nights.
Country Town Collective's debut release 'Houses' was launched in 2009 and is getting airplay on community radio around the country, RRR, PBS and Plenty Valley FM in Melb, 4ZzZ in Brissie, FBi in Sydney, Radio Adelaide and Three D in Adelaide, Radio National plus our own ABC Darwin - AWESOME!!!!! THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT!!!!!
