Live at Cambell Field
The Country Westernaires entered the world in December, 2006, when singer/guitarist Larry Fix, tired of performing as a solo artist, invited two family members and three lifelong friends to join him in the creation of an acoustic music ensemble that could bring the joy, intimacy, and spontaneity of a living room jam session to the live performance stage and the recording studio. This elusive goal was achieved in short order, with each member of the group bringing rich and tasty ingredients to the home cooked musical stew rustled up by this great band. The quick addition of a drummer/percussionist completed the group's search for it's defining sound.
The Country Westernaires perform great songs from country, rock, folk and bluegrass traditions in a mostly acoustic musical setting with strong lead vocals, soaring harmonies and really big fun.
