I'm glad I moved back to KY after being in NJ for 14 years; but I still miss walking down the block to the Atlantic Ocean. It's so amazingly endless; it's beautiful. I also miss the boardwalk, Barnegat Bay, Sawmill Pizza, and even the Bennies. I had the unique experience of living in a Jersey Shore resort town, with all the attendant fun little quirks and the bothersome inconveniences.
Life in Louisville is pretty cool, though. Living in the Highlands is immensely enjoyable; the atmosphere is liberal, progressive and kinda bohemian!
I enjoy coffee houses, book stores, plays, dining out and rock-oriented music (including live local shows). And, sometimes I produce my own music; I call the style "alt eclectronica." I'm a pacifist, and I am compassionate, intense and artistic. Also, I have a neurotic, 23-pound cat named Zandar that I love very much; and, he loves me!
My formal education is in experimental psychology and progressive, Christian theology. For my day job, I'm employed as an accessible test editor at The American Printing House for the Blind in the 'Ville.
Who I'd like to meet: ...people in the Louisville area.
