Courting Disaster play music that features mild rhythmic syncopation, minor key tonality, dirty electric guitar riffs, prominent drums and warped bass lines. Add to that intelligent, heartfelt lyrics that are delivered with a fiery passion and you have the makings of a great modern rock band.
We mix metal, punk, funk, surf, and experimental rock to create an interesting and lush sonic landscape. There's a strong respect for 70's hard rock as well as late 80's/early 90's alternative. At the same time, we all love a catchy, pop riff. We don't try to be weirdos, but what do you expect from people stuck in the midwest?

It will be a month or two before we get any tracks up. We have had horrible luck with finding reliable band members but, luckily it looks like we now have a good set of people.
Hey guys. Wondering how things are going with you. We've been having alot of trouble keeping members, but we may have finally found a group of people that actually are on the same page... Except for "Q", he's a bit odd. Since we both have the same band name we need to do a compilation CD if eaither of us ever make it big. That would sound funny.
