..Cooking, softball, golf, long chats over coffee without the interruption of children, being flat-out lazy in my PJs when the day allows, freecycling, and I'm learning to appreciate the fine art of napping for the first time in life

Hey, I'm Courtney. I am an open book - ask and I'll tell. And even if you don't, I'll probably tell anyway.
I'm an extroverted introvert. I love karaoke but can't carry a tune in a bucket. I'm a foodie, although I could eat Olive Garden salad and breadsticks or McDonald's cheeseburgers for every meal for the rest of my life and be happy. If my life allowed it, I'd love to be a chef or own a catering business. I adore a good cup of coffee, heavy on the cream. I'm completely disorganized and a bit of a hermit at times. I cannot stand talking on the phone. I have a steadily improving golf game of which I'm pretty proud. I am far more nostalgic than I should be for my own good and perhaps that's why I'm a bit screwy in the head. I love words, words and more words...
I'm a tomboy at heart and can count the days on one hand that I wear makeup during the month because I still don't know how to apply it properly after all of these years. My favorite fashion accessory - ahem, necessity - is a baseball cap, which happens to come in pretty handy, because like makeup, I never learned how to really do my hair, either. Or maybe its just that I've learned there are more important things in life than worrying about how my hair looks...
..EXERCISE YOUR MIND! Being smart is sexy!
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone to play golf with and anyone needing a spare softball player...old friends, new friends - basically anyone who can be a positive influence in my life.
