In the niveous, cold winter of 2002, Ben Reinhartz (drums/vocals), Jon Arden (vocals/guitar), Mathew Wronski (bass/vocals) and Pedja Milosavljevic (guitar/vocals) realized that a good way to keep warm was by using each others' body heat. While spending many months in Ben's basement with hot lamps and electric blankets, a musical conglomerate was created.
A batch of melodic, aggressive, stream of consciousness songs make up 'Sweet Modern Fairy Tales', their first E.P., recorded in April and August of 2003. After its release in 2004, the band played regularly in Toronto and surrounding cities and went on two tours of France, Spain and U.K. In November of 2005, the band (then a 5 piece) parted ways with their vocalist, Stan Simon, and spent most of 2006 writing a new record’s worth of material while looking for a singer. In September of that year they welcomed a new vocalist, Charlie Berger, recorded ‘The Faces E.P. in August 2007, and played six shows with the 5-piece configuration – sharing the stage with Planes Mistaken For Stars, Ghenghis Tron, dd/mm/yyyy, Hopesfall and Seconds to Go.
Upon their release of the E.P., the band parted ways with Charlie, leaving them currently as a four piece. Jon has taken over the lead vocals with the rest of the band singing along. They are currently playing shows in Toronto and the GTA and keeping warm in Ben’s basement with hot lamps and electric blankets; writing bootylicious rhythms that get the blood flowing and melodic, urgent rock and roll that will be recorded in September 2008 with Matt Dematteo.

If you're one of our many friends whom we've blasted with bulletins, we're truly sorry. It was never our intention to bog your pages down with our announcements, and we really had no idea that sending out messages so frequently like that would cause you to not see your other friends' bulletins. We just have a lot of info to get out there and we wanted to make sure everybody got a chance to see it. Our bad. Now that we know how it works, we've decided to cease and desist our bulletin campaigns at this time. However, if you'd still like to be notified about new music and videos, show announcements, merch, and other info, we'd be happy to add you to our favorites list. That way, we can simply send you a personalized message letting you know what's going on. Be assured, any messages we send to you will be sent only ONCE. You can also add us to friend updates for the same info, if you prefer. Just let us know by replying to this email, and we'll put you in our faves. If not, just delete this message. Sorry again, and we hope you'll stick with us. Disonic
If you have not heard, we have a new teaser on our myspace. Even if you don't care for us, give it a listen, and hell, if you like give us a comment and let us know what you think!! The more comments and plays we get, the sooner we will put up the full thing.
