Sounds Like
No other band youve heard of. We do not fit under any genres, and you cannot experience all of C/o in just one song. We have heavy songs that your hardcore metal fan would love, yet we also play stuff that our mothers and younger siblings like. Sometimes the music is very dirty, like the kind that you would want to turn down, maybe even off; but sometimes its so peaceful and soothes the body and soul with every note that is played. So, we dont really know what we sound like to tell you the truth...

Dillon Jeffreys and Kyle Britt had always been friends with each other, being neighbors since 2001, they both had common intrest. One fine day in March of 2004, they decided to play music; Dillon playing bass and kyle on the drums. There were endless weekends and summers of jamming, and they were just learning how to play their instruments, so it was a little sketchy back then. Then, they decided they should create a band.
There was only one thing missing... a guitar player. They had many friends who played guitar at the time, and they tried having them in the band, but things just didn't work out the way they had planned. Then, they found the right guy. Charlie Meeks joined C/o back in early 2005, and thus, Courtesy Of was born. Later in December of 2006, Kyle wanted time to himself wanting to chill and play guitar thus, Kyle quit Courtesy Of. The band being understanding, accepted his request and moved on, Dillon and Charlie missed Kyle but still wanted to play as Courtesy Of.
A short time after, Dillon and Charlie decided to get a new drummer, Ben Marshall. Dillon, Ben, and Charlie all went to middle school together and they have had some jam sessions together in the past. All being happy of the decision, Courtesy Of was back on track! The band practiced with each other and experimented with music, branching out their creativity to the world. After about 3 or 4 rehersals, the trio put on a show with the new drummer in February of 2007. Then 10 months later we lost a good guitar player.
Momentarly in Spring of 2008, Justin Hoard stepped in the band and we created more music. The band had a show in two weeks from that time, and tought the guitarist some of the existing songs plus created a few of their own. The show went well so did the ones that followed.
Courtesy Of was looking for a new sound, something original and unique. The band sounded good with the three instraments, but a thought came across their minds..... "What if we had another guitar to play an alternant part?" With this in mind, the band was on a hunt. They came across Nathan Ura in the late summer of 2008.

.. Hi there Courtesy Of first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people you can click the link below to visit our profile which wlil provide you with more information and also give you the link to our website! I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.
