About Courtney Ateyeh

Found Peace in music, and when I was 12 found refuge in writing. Expanded my dreams and learned to play the guitar when i was 15. Music, my best friend and first love, helped me get over my second. Went into the studio, found a mentor who taught me about life. Went to Ohio, loved it but my instinct questioned me. Lost myself. Slipped on ice in a parking lot, missed my family and came home. More inspired and driven than ever played the guitar so much my fingers peeled. Realized you can't look to other people to make you happy and if you do you, those people are bound to fail because it will never be enough unless it comes from within. Found myself. Went back to the studio, learned more. Recorded my first single ("Break Free") and set it out into the world. Naked, I wait for the soul's responses.

**Currently at Berklee College of music in Boston <3 and just put up a demo of my new song "i fall"! Listen and please let me know what you think i love feedback.
