That honesty is the foundation of a healthy environment and empathy, expressed in many ways, allows the adaptive responses that maintain dynamic equilibrium. An environment in which all life can thrive.
I see obedience as a form of dishonesty, and dis-obedience as a form of honesty. I see that people with natural empathy have a deeper basis for healthy relationships and communities than those that require rules, regulations and the threat of punishment.
