It’s getting increasingly tougher to add songs to this page. Many of the songs I would like to add are embedded with copyright protection that allows only the copyright owner(s) to use them.

TEN SONGS HEARD HERE – PHILLY LOCAL SALUTES BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, PART 2

Early this year, WXPN’s XPN Philly Local (radio program) in Philadelphia, PA USA asked local bands/musicians to submit Bruce cover songs for a tribute album celebrating Bruce’s 60th birthday, to be released in late September. Last month, I included seven of the submitted songs. Here are ten others:

Bad news, it appears that this CD won’t be released afterall. I’ve written to XPN several times to ask why & I’ve yet to receive a reply. It’s too bad, there were some great songs recorded. Although a few of these songs were aired on the radio program (to promote a September 23rd Springsteen tribute concert), most now will never see the light of day. Again, too bad.
