About me:
Covey Promotions is an Independent Pro Wrestling Promotion located in West Virginia. We have ran events throughout the eastern panhandle, potomac highlands, and central West Virginia and coming soon to Pennsylvania, in the towns of Berkeley Springs, Paw Paw, Martinsburg, Baker, Charles Town, Ridgeley, and Morgantown. The company was founded in 2006 by Cody Covey, Covey is a Pro Wrestler with several years of experience, and has recently as of October 2008 tried out for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in Tampa Florida at Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), The WWE's Developemental League. Covey Promotions takes pride in being the #1 Independent League in the state with a track record, and reputation to back up that statement. Our shows have featured names of some of the biggest stars in the Professional Wrestling Business such as: "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash (FYI: He participated in our biggest show to date, on 4-26-08 in Paw Paw WV, where we drew nearly 600 fans, he also captured The Covey Pro Heavyweight Championship that night!), "The Native American" Tatanka (FYI: He is currently at the time of this writing, the current Covey Pro Heavyweight Champion), "The Original Diva" Sunny, The Iron Sheik, Eugene, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Spike Dudley, and Axl Rotten, just to name a few! So if you've never been to one of our shows we encourage you to do so, and remember there are alot of Indy Wrestling Leagues out there, but if you're ticket says "Covey Promotions" on it, you know that you will receive a quality show, and you're money's worth! Who I'd like to meet:
On Sunday November 8th, Covey Promotions will be holding a special "Try-Out/Clinic" in Paw Paw WV, the Head-Trainer will be Former WWE Superstar "Tatanka"! Footage from the "Try-Out/Clinic" will also air on the "Covey Pro: Wrestling" TV Show which airs every Saturday Night at 11pm on WJAL TV 68, which is available on Dish Network, Comcast, Atlantic Broadband, and Adelphia Cable Systems!
The cost of the "Try-Out/Clinic" is just $50 and it will be 4 hours long. Whether you have no experience and have always wanted to try to be a Pro Wrestler, or if you are already trained or still in training, this is the opportunity of a lifetime! Workers who are already trained or still in training will be evaluated and possibly given a spot on the Covey Pro Roster. Individuals with no experience will also be evaluated and possibly given the opportunity to train with the Covey Pro Dojo.
