Others remember me as "the girl who always was running around doing everything and always willing to help," or "the girl who's always recruiting young people to colporteur or go to OHC," or "the girl who does nature presentations," or "the girl in the wheelchair with a big smile who's always with a bunch of people," or "the girl who is related to or knows just about everybody."
Sometimes I laugh at their remarks, but admittedly, all of those things have been true at some point in my life, and some of them are still true...
My passion is evangelism, my mission is to share Christ with others through the Bible and nature, my aim is to be like Christ, my motto is to use every moment to bless others, and my slogan is "By Faith We Conquer!"
The past several years I've been heavily involved in colporteuring. www.knockknocking.com shares some of my colporteur adventures, as well as pictures, reports and stories from the homeschool program that I led for two summers, "Knock Knock Reports", and information on colporteuring in general. There's another homeschooler program coming up this summer too, though I won't be there in person. Come and join a fabulous group of young people and work for God!
I can't tell about myself without introducing my wonderful Fiance, Daniel McFeeters. We've been engaged since March, 2008 and are planning to get married in the beautiful mountains of Washington state, near my home, on March 8, 2009! Once we're married, we'll be living in Kentucky, where Daniel currently lives. I'm SOOOOO excited to see how God has led! You can read our story and find out more about our wedding on www.dk.discoveringhistreasures.com
Currently, Daniel and I, along with Elisabeth Mizner, are working full time with Discovering His Treasures ministry. We have been developing the ministry since the fall of 2005. Our mission is to help you discover the principles of practical Christianity through the Bible and nature, to empower you to become a discoverer of God's treasures and a teacher of His truths, and to revive your Christian walk with God and give you a deeper interest in His word.
We are running an online store with materials to help you find those lessons from the Bible and nature, a bi-monthly email newsletter called, Treasure Clues to bring fresh tidbits to your inbox, and we travel around the country holding seminar workshops, teaching you how to find those lessons on your own!
Check out our website, www.discoveringhistreasures.com for our speaking schedule, updates, and more information. We hope to see you at a seminar soon!
"But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty." 1 Corinthians 1:27
Sometimes I wonder how He could choose someone so weak and frail as I am, but He is faithful and He wants to use everyone--even YOU! Are you ready for some adventure? Come join us in God's army!
Best wishes on your wedding day on Sunday! Wish I could be at your wedding. I thought I should drop a note to say... Love looks not with the eyes, but with the heart - Shakespeare. Wishing you every happiness as you begin a beautiful life together. Congrats! :)
Hey Kristina! I just saw the pictures of your new house. Very cute! Where in Kentucky are you moving? David and I just moved back to the Cincinnati area. Have a great week!
That would be so great if you could make it! I don't know what will be going on with us in March, but that would be great if we could make it too! I've never been to Washington before... :)
Happy Sabbath, My Dearest! I was just on here and couldn't sign off without adding a little note for you. ;) I'm praying you have a blessed day and can't wait to see you soon!
I love her new display picture. Maybe its because I took the picture lol. I like the colors. It brings to mind lots of fond memories of our time together in AR. I am so happy you took us to those gardens it was so much fun :) I do wish I was back in AR right now though, oh well can't help that and I shouldn't complain about it either. Anyways I shouldn't talk on to much longer. Love you heaps. God bless and keep you in his loving care. Your in my thoughts and prayers
I think of you so often and am happy that you will soon be home :) Thank you for the comment! If the raspberries are in good order at your place we might be coming over this weekend to pick. See you soon!
Happy Birthday to someone who inspires me. :) Keep smiling like a w . . . you get the idea! Love you! Hope this next year brings you closer to Jesus. ~Emmy
Happy Birthday Sister!! Hope you are having a wonderful day, I am very glad I get to share this special day with you! If there is anything I can do to make it more joyful please let me know. Hey its been awhile! Miss hearing from you. This week we are studying float-type carburetors, so after doing the aircraft carburetor projects, I got to overhaul both of my Honda carburetors (twin cylinders) during lab-time! The teacher used one of my Honda carburetors for an example of a leaking float, which is one of the causes of carburetor flooding, etc. Eventually I'll get this thing running...won't be any too soon if my Nissan keeps going downhill. And 90 MPG sure beats 24 MPG with current gas prices. Hope all is going well in AR or wherever you're at. God bless! Much love, Erick
P.S. I ran across your "Our Story" online--very well written! (Makes me wistful though.) Amazing how you remember so many details. I couldn't remember much of that stuff, except I do recall you getting a Charlie plant once upon a time.
Hiya! Yeah, I found your Myspace randomly through Sanna's. I can't believe you're engaged!! (aparently the rest of my family knew, but they neglected to tell me :D) My email is still the same, I love getting updates about you and your ministry. Right now my life is so hectic it's crazy... I'm just counting the days until graduation and praying I'll live until then. Between sports, school, God and music there is nooo time for sleep or anything else. I'm so happy for you and can't wait to hear more! Lots of love, Robyn
Hope all is going well in AR! Winter is trying to stay around a little longer here, as I'm sure you've heard from your parents. It was fun spending Sabbath with Mr. and Mrs. Reeve. I liked it so much better than staying home by ourselves!
Hi Kristinka,it's so good to hear from you too! I'm so happy for you! We set the date for 31st August this year.will you come?:) My fiance is Eric Dunn, he's from Florida and he came to do mission work to czech two years ago and that's how we met...:) And I'm soo thankful for him. God is good! how have you been? what do you do? where did you meet your fiance? love, Kamca
Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend and letting me bombard you with questions about the wedding ;-) Sometime I'll have to tell you what your dad said to me as we were leaving Sabbath night!
Hope you aren't too overwhelmed with all that you have to do before Thursday. Am praying for you!
