I have eclectic tastes in music. I enjoy country, rock, some jazz and opera. I also enjoy listening to film scores. I know a lot of music snobs turn their nose up to John Williams, but he composes some great scores, as does Howard Shore and Danny Elfman.I also like rock from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. I like Donna Summers, The Beatles, Elvis, and a few others. I also dig Gretchen Wilson, Big and Rich, Paolo Conte, and Alison Krauss, and absolutely love Johnny Cash.
I also enjoy my share of Broadway musicals. Some off the top of my head that I like are Man of La Mancha, Carousel, Oklahoma!, Chicago, and Urinetown.
Vienna Teng's music is amazing. It is some of the most sophisticated modern pop music I've heard. She blends jazz, country, and even classical in to her music. She claims not to have had much vocal training, but she uses her voice just beautifully. Check her out.

Let's see....Citizen Kane, Goodfellas, Pleasantville, Batman, Batman Begins, Night of the Living Dead, Evil Dead, Evil Dead II, Suspiria, Opera, Dawn of the Dead, the original and the remake...ok, enough horror flicks... Silence of the Lambs...hmmm...does that count as horror?? Akira, Alien, Aliens, Blade, Blade II (notice how I didn't mention Blade Trinity??), A Bug's Life, Toy Story, Toy Story II, The Incredibles, Fight Club, Hudson Hawk, Black Hawk Down... I recently started reading some of the Batman graphic novels out there. I'm a huge fan of Batman and Spider-Man, but not a comic book reader or a collector. I'd like to change the former. I don't have the money or the time to become a collector. Otherwise, I enjoy reading Dean Koontz and Michael Crichton.Heroes

About me:
What's there to tell about me? I'm originally from North East Ohio and have been living in the Bay Area since September of 2005.And in January of 2008 I officially married my sweetie Trish. And it looks like we're going to have the big church wedding in the Philippines in May 2009.
I am a computer and technology geek.
When I have time to read, ok, that's not exactly the truth, when I MAKE the time to read, I enjoy reading political books or suspense/thriller novels.
I enjoy all sorts of music. I also love films. My DVD collection is completely out of hand! I have dozens of DVDs that I haven't even opened yet, little alone watch! I think the total is over 600 or 700 now. As I said, it's out of hand.
And I just got a 47" 1080p LG LCD TV with 120hz. It's freaking awesome!
I guess I'm here to meet up with old friends. I'm one of those people that is absolutely HORRIBLE about keeping in touch. I don't generally respond to emails quickly. Sometimes it takes me a couple of months to respond. Yes, horrible indeed!
