Cowtown Alternative Comix Festival 2009: Denver, Colorado. Meet Denver comics creators that are making unusual, personal, artistic, and/or literary comics outside the mainstream, view their work, and hear them talk. (And, uh, buy their stuff!) To be held Saturday June 27, 2009, from 1-5 PM at: Tattered Cover Bookstore 1628 16th St (16th & Wynkoop) Downtown Denver, CO 80202. Admission is Free! Exhibitors include: Lonnie Allen, Will Barnes, John Bueno, Patty Leidy, Ozzy Longoria, John Peters, John Porcellino, Ron Ruelle, Felix Tannenbaum, Noah Van Sciver, and Stan Yan.
