Bio:

A native of California, Coyote Slim is a man that has worked as a fishmonger, biological science technician, and urban forester. His style of music is traditional blues (sometime called Delta Blues or "Country" Blues) and his lyrics are relevant to his own life as a westerner. He chose his career in environmental education and restoration -- "green-collar" work -- out of a dedication to the living world and his community, and this choice has lead to good and bad times and is reflected in his music. He has gigged more often than not at farmer's markets, helping supplement his meager income from his other jobs. A long-term resident of the South Bay Area, in 2009 Coyote Slim took a break from city life to live in the foothills of the southern Sierra Nevada in Tulare County, CA. In 2010 he will be once again based out of San Jose, though he hopes to gig more extensively throughout the Bay Area, Sacramento, and the Sierra Nevada.
