HISTORY LESSON
Cozimnot! (est. 2005) are a three-piece band from leamington spa who create music entirely with the use of instruments that you have to plug in somewhere. Sonically positioned in a reverb soaked realm of wall-of-sound melody; coarsely scabrous yet booty-shaking beats and ephemeral half-remembered battle-raps reduced to pure prosody, they have shared a stage with acts such as Misty’s Big Adventure and Max Tundra

Hi, thanks for the request. Like your stuff. Good luck with it all. If you are ever putting on any gigs let us know. We'd love to come down and play. Stay in touch. Ben
Its been selling faster than we expected, and we currently only have around a quarter of our stock left - so we thought we'd better you all know that if you want a copy then now would be a good time to pick one up! If you buy it from the link above then you're buying it direct from us, the label aren't taking a cut - so its a bit like Fair Trade for struggling musicians.
International mail-order is available, just follow the instructions.
Thank you very much, and sorry for making a mess of your profile. If its any kind of consolation, we don't have a MySpace bot, so I'm leaving these comments the old fashioned way. Three -and-a-half thousand of them. My life is so exciting.
p.s. i noticed you guys have an account with last fm. in that case, you should check out this website: www.pitchfork.com . it's a pretty cool site; you get access to all of these unique, one-of-a kind music tracks. everything from 1960's french pop to modern day indie, dub, experimental, etc. i'd say it's very comparable to last fm! ;]
2/3rds have been to the states & you're the only one that hasn't? what?! lol so i guess that makes you the oddball of the bunch. ahaha. ;]
hmm..academic qualifications, you say? so i assume all of you guys are currently in uni? that's pretty cool. where are you guys going to school? as for where i went last year for my summer programme, i went to, queen mary, university of london. :D
i enjoyed the music, as usual! i'm almost determined to team up with a friend of mine (who's really into mixing beats) so we can start making our own music! if i did ever make my own music, i know it would definitely be along the lines of trip-hop. ;]
haha i only know that bit of information because i went to england last summer to study classic british literature. i'm a big time history nerddd. ahaha. XD
you're being too much of a realist, buddy! ahaha. you gotta keep the dream alive! of course you guys will make it to the states one day. ;] i just wish there was a bigger scene out here that catered to experimental kind of music..it's definitely very big in europe..just not in the states yet; although, it is popular with small certain groups of people out here. =/
i did have a safe bday. i didn't do anything stupid, so that's good. ahah. ;]
as for my whereabouts, i live in san francisco! have you any of you guys ever been to the states before?
you guys could try getting a gig at Electric Daisy Carnival in LA (which is the one I just went to) or Monster Massive (which takes place in either September or October; and that one takes place in LA as well). Both are probably some of the biggest raves in the States! :D
i'm loving the track: "It's Just One Lone Star in Orange Cloud". Very dark and eerie..I think it'd make an excellent soundtrack to a movie!
now get your english arses to the states! lol i assume you guys are english because isn't leamington spa nearby where shakespeare used to live?
haha you're so sweet. i'd like to think i'm worthy of a dedication, seeing as how i am a devoted cozimnot groupie!! ahaha jkk. ;)
umm i do know of various venues here in the states that host concerts, whose artists, play music along the lines of trance, dub, experimental, etc. i don't know if you guys call them the same thing in the u.k. but over here, we call them "raves" and people get really fcked up when they go to these things. i went to a rave a couple of nights ago for my bday and they had 150 of the top best electronica, trip hop, dub, etc. DJs from Europe playing for two straight nights in a row! i honestly think you guys could easily get a gig at a rave here in the states.. =D
