..........> Cozmo is a blues singer, songwriter,and lead guitar player. Performing with COZMO BLUES BAND on a steady basis, as well as playing solo acoustic shows. Legendary in life, sporting a sleek white Gibson Firebird guitar,a sweet tone, seasoned vocals,and a go for it approach. Cozmo combines the very best qualities of rockin' guitar tradition. For over twenty years, Cozmo has integrated all the great guitar players into his own guitar slingin' style. This began in the 60's with Jimi Hendrix & Johnny Winter,continued on through Eric Clapton phases, with Santana always present in his appearance,spirt, & tone reaching up around Dicky Betts leads as well as Duane Allman. In this study of music,Cozmo's experience has spread far beyond the sunny beaches of his home in Florida,& gone nationwide. Reaching everywere and anywhere the soulfully intense energy and beauty of rockin' blues music is known and appreciated. Who would've ever guessed this shy, skinny surfer who whispered softly would grow up with a fire and fury to play and sing rockin' blues, traditional blues, classic rock & three albums of all origional music. Playing & singing with a passion that's in the moment & hitting a spot that gives goosechills. Now based out of Oregon with a new album coming out, Cozmo is finally getting known. The performing experience is countless. The notoriety comes from the experience level you can see right off. A sense that your witnessing an experience that Cozmo is having with himself, almost trance like, rarely opening his eye's. Cozmo gets in a zone that reminds you of Johnny Winter's firebird,stinging Santana soul, with the swirling energy of Steve Ray Vaughn & a sway of Jimi Hendrix thrown in. The singing is soulful and deep, with Johnny Winter and Gregg Allman influencing the vocals. While Cozmo has his own style,he compliments the blues and gospel styles of the greats, mixed with the funk and rock grooves that move your feet & soul.Emotionally expressing his own life experiences and comes up with a style that is familiar, timeless & classic.
