Cozy Home Records is the past colliding with the future. It is a virtually nonexistent community based on similar people, places and things. It's a home recording haven that slings smack at the junk store in your living room in your head set. We have practiced perfection but certainly have not mastered it, no noise too subtle to not slip in, no wide eyed gesture escapes easily. We are the dawn of yesterday morning and we are consistently high biased.

Every once in a while a record lands in your life and blows you away. This is one of those records - an intelligent and heartfelt collection of folk-psychedelics, with songs that will linger in your mind like ghosts long after they have played. Dublin's THE LOADED WHISPERS are probably as great as lo-fi musicians get, combining the brilliant poetry of Jeremiah James and the unmistakeable mind-blowing voice of Syd Lane, over fuzzy stripped-back psych guitar and dancing piano keys. "Artists Use Lies To Tell The Truth" is a perfect introduction to what they do, with so many stand-out tracks that all you can do is let the record play out from beginning to end. And that really is the truth.
thanks guys. we are actually friends with the New Wave Dirt, and heard about you through them. We're looking to record an album in August down in Nashville TN, and will probably need help marketing and distributing our CD among other necessities. Does the shopping for record labels take place AFTER the album is done or beforehand...I'm not entirely sure how the process works. If you have any advice, please feel free to share it with us.
