ABOUT: CP1 RECORDS

CP1 Records is an independent raggae and dancehall record label with major label distribution.Based in London, England and Spanish Town, Jamaica. Est. in 2008, CP Records is not only a record label, but a management company, a video production company. Forwarding with a powerful and dedicated team, in just a year.

CP1 Records primary purpose is to foster an increasing marketplace for undergound dancehall artists and assist in the long-term development, growth and success of dancehall recording artists. CP1 Records controls a portfolio of ventures in the fields of electronic publishing, music, and music video etc. Our mission is to deliver the next generation of media and entertainment brands for emerging artists in the 21st century. CP1 Records remains an avenue for the previously unheard to able to spread their words and sounds.

Small Beginnings

CP1 Records is all about big things from small beginnings. It was established by CP early 2008 aiming to release underground dancehall artists in london. In a year CP Records has leaps ahead in promoting marketing and publishing unsigned artists. We are regrouping this year to release several limited edition EP's of ground shaking new artists.

CP1 Records has developed a wide network that includes selectors, dancers, producers, and artiste, some work done includes: producing, recording, mixing, dub plate and other collaboration. Our fan base ranges from community member, arties other entertainers as well as our world wide peers

Artists Seeking Release of EPs/LPs

CP1 Records is interested to hear from talented, motivated and passionate singers and songwriters who require label support to release their music. Ideally we are expecting you to manage the production of your own recordings. We can release your EP/LP under the CP1 Records label and provide associated administrative and promotional support. The label operates in a manner which maximizes your artistic & commercial independence. Global digital distribution is also available. We are interested in releasing high quality recordings from the following genres:reggae and dancehall regardless of style we aims to promote original artists.
