I started out making very Brown Music at home in my Brown Room. This music became my first double B sided 7" single, then my second 7" and then my first album, which I named The Brown Room, after the sound my little Brown Room had helped me garner.
Then, due to a perception of reality by means of a sudden intuitive realization, my music began to contain a kaleidoscope of other colours. I am only beginning to come to terms with this unexpected sense of colour and some of these colours feature prominently on my as yet unreleased second album, Heron vs Heron. It should be mentioned that although I was experiencing the beginnings of a very beautiful spiritual epiphany, I was also recovering from a vast internal emotional cataclysm and it is this cataclysm that features most prominently throughout Heron vs Heron.
I have since experienced many more colours and am presently attempting to ensnare them with my Cracked Analogue Sound Encapsulator. Its extremely exciting and emotionally, very rewarding.
One night, I encapsulated my piano for a short while and pressed up 499 copies of its indulgent meanderings. I called this recording Not For Sale and made it available for free.
I should also mention that I have never performed live or been in a band in my entire life. Perhaps one day I might play a gig, if I could find some people who would like to play with me and who could also accept my plethora of faults but basically, don't hold your breath. I have zero self-confidence, a fear of intimacy and have been known to weep openly for no apparent reason.
I do sing songs to myself though, especially when I am sad. The following video is a live recording of 'Every Little Thing', the final track from my debut album. It was performed live at home in my Brown Room. I hope that you might enjoy it.
