About me:

Craft in the Village is an independent grassroots arts and crafts fair founded on the idea that art needs to be on the street and in the hands of the people. Our philosophy is involvement and community grassroots activism for the arts. We also wanted to create a market to sell where there wasn't one before and to make our community and neighborhood a better place to live. We will be organizing different events throughout the fair season but our main event will be during the Uptown Village First Friday Celebration in downtown Vancouver WA.

Craft in the Village will be located in the lots next to One World Merchants at 2315 Main st, Vancouver WA. 98660. It takes place during the Uptown Village First Friday celebration every first Friday from May-Sept on Main st. from Fourth Plain to McLoughlin.

We have 10x10 booth spaces and 4x6 table spaces available in the lot and we are placing artists at 4x6 spots up and down Main st in a "Last Thursday" type atmosphere. In addition to the artists we also have a stage for performance with room in front for dancing and demonstrations.

We are currently looking for artists, crafter and performers in any medium to be a part of our event. It's free for everyone, all we ask is that you check in with us, be respectful of others and donate a few dollars if you have a good day. If you are interested in being a part, please contact Chris at:
Craftinthevillage@gmail.com

New Vancouver T-shirts available at the Northwest Shirts booth during the fair.

the Uptown Village Neighborhood in Downtown Vancouver WA. is a rustic and cool community that is on it's way up.

the First Friday event is from 4-8pm every Friday May-Sept and spans Main and Broadway st.'s from McLoughlin to Fourth Plain in the Historic Uptown Village district of downtown Vancouver WA.

The market is free for vendors and performers for right now so please contact us if you have got some goods or game for us. We'll be contacting all of you who are on our mailing list closer to the fair to find out your availability and where we can put you. To get on our mailing list please e-mail me at: craftinthevillage@gmail.com

..

Who I'd like to meet:

alrighty man. I got school until 2 o'clock usually but I might be able to get out of my last class. Just let me know what day you want me to come over and clean screens.

I might even have a pretty simple shirt design you could sell to our fellow boarders.
