About me:
During the Writer's Strike, I found myself consoling and giving advice to several actor friends who were hurting and worried. One of them suggested that I start teaching but that didn't interest me so much in the same way that I wasn't interested when I was offered to be a theatrical agent. The reason is simple: I am an Actor - it's my first thought when I wake up in the morning and my last thought before I go to bed. It's what I love to do with all due respect to acting teachers out there - I'm finally making a living at it after all this time.
But I thought I do have a way of making actors feel better and I do have some experience that can lead to good advice. So I started a blog called The Crafty Actor where I could share and maybe help actors that are in the mix trying to get ink on their resume, especially network and studio ink, as well as those that are sure to follow.
So take a visit and read some stuff if you're interested. If it's worthwhile to you, there's a number of ways that you can support this effort:
* You can subscribe to the blog for new postings.
* You can make a donation - we like Starbucks unfortunately - via PayPal.
* You can download the Firefox web browser from our site if you don't already have it - Google gives us a little shout out.
* We're also selling books, videos and later on cool DVD's via Amazon from the site.
* There's also some cool trial offers related to films and TV from Google.
But all that aside, if you like what you're reading, spread the word by all means. I just did a post called "An Open Letter to Casting" that I bounced off a few friends who have been around - they were impressed and thought that it was wise, if I ever wanted to work again, to remain anonymous. Normally I am anything but anonymous but I love acting so much that I cannot take the chance while maintaining the freedom to speak as truthfully as I can.
Best of luck and thanks for spreading the word.

Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone who can provide an opportunity to compete for a good acting role: casting directors, directors, producers, writers, big agents and managers.
More specifically: Clint Eastwood, Francis Ford Coppola, George Clooney, Martin Scorsese - the list goes on and on.
