About me:
I'm a near 40 happily married man who lives in Denver and works in Boulder, Colorado. I am a Luthier by trade. A luthier is a person who builds or restores stringed instruments.(or at least that is the most common use these days)
It sounds cliche' but I do love what I do. I toured as a guitar tech for about 5 years with various bands in Seattle. Then I met a great woman who I married. We tried to tour but it didn't work. So, I quit touring and moved to Colorado where I entered a great lutherie shop. That is where I really learned the craft. I have been there for 13 years. Rose and I split not too long after moving to Colorado. We are still friends although she has now moved back to Seattle. Ironic huh? I have been married to Agena for a little over a year. We met in 2002 and are well matched. Work, home projects, and volunteer work take up most of our time. I play a bit of music although being a Luthier is not condusive to being a major musician. After working on guitars for 8-12 hours a day I am not always inspired to pick one up when I get home. I'm looking to keep up with old friends and lost ones, network with other luthiers and keep the family up to date. Thank you...Peace
