Craic Wisely is a six piece celtic-rock outfit based in West Michigan. With two voices, a fiddle, a cello, two guitars, a bass and a set of drums, Craic Wisely plays a combination of original music and Irish traditional favorites. Every song CW plays has an edge that separates it from every other Celtic-Rock act on the scene. Craic Wisely plays songs. Crowds sing along, and people dance, on occasion beer is spilled. The e-mail today announcing your final performance at the Kalamazoo Irish Fest on Sept. 26th was tough... Craic Wisely will always be remembered for the way you interacted with their audience, the great spins you put on traditional songs and all of your great original material... I'd be lying if I didn't say I was deeply saddened to think of the end of an era coming soon. I challenge and encourage every Craic Head, young and old, former bandmates and close friends and family to be in Kalamazoo for your final show! It won't be without some tears! I shall not say good-bye, simply good luck my friends...
