Craig Allen's comedy has been described as "bizarre, yet intelligent." He delights in "turning the mundane into the insane". His twisted logic would make a Vulcan cry with laughter.
Craig is touring to promote his latest CD project, "Idiot Box", parodying classic television shows. "Idiot Box" is a hilarious collection of the lost episodes of America's favorite sitcoms, and is in heavy rotation on national radio, most recently on The Bob and Tom Show. Craig is the CD's head writer and executive producer.
Craig has also written for the critically- acclaimed, Peabody Award nominated PBS television series "Mental Engineering".Material that Craig has written for others has appeared in Playboy, The London Times, The Washington Post, The New York Post, the
tabloid Star, and on ABC's "The View".
In 2002, Craig beat out over 100 other comedians to become a finalist in the Twin Cities Laff-Off. On April 21st 2003, Craig organized a nationwide comedy event called Standup for the Troops, providing free comedy shows that night to the military, reservists, veterans, and any other proud Americans.
