Craig Benelli is a guitar player based in New York. Throughout the past ten years he has recorded and performed with such great singer/songwriters as Steve Tannen (The Weepies), Greg Tannen, Kyler England, Edie Carey, Dave Pettigrew, Laura Berman, Amy Lennard, Gabrielle, Joanie Leeds and Meredith LeVande. He has worked alongside such acclaimed producers as Ben Wisch (Marc Cohn), Jon Gordon and Richard Oliver Furch. In 2003, he toured Europe playing Country music with The Ranchhands and in 2004 toured the states with the touring company for the Broadway Musical Rent. In addition, Benelli wrote and recorded a CD of original Christmas songs with producer and songwriter Frank Di Minno that was released under the name Kings Highway. In 2003, Benelli had the fortunate opportunity of working with former Sony Epic recording group, October Project, headed by the songwriting team of Emil Adler and Julie Flanders. His relationship with Adler and Flanders afforded him the opportunity to produce "Deep as You Go", a track on their 2006 Covered CD which featured vocalist and songwriter Laura Berman. In addition, Benelli had the utmost pleasure of writing a collection of inspirational songs for Laura Berman's 2007 release, Detour. Benelli also co-produced the CD along with producer/songwriter, Scott Cresswell.
