However you stumbled across this page i'd like to welcome you all with open arms and a big smile! And now to tell you a bit about me...
I started playing drums at the age of 15. I'd hit a kit a few times before that, but never 'properly.' I joined my first band as soon as i started to play and spent around 18 months teaching myself to play by ear. I quickly realised that i needed to seek guidance and got myself lessons from an amazing pro drummer from London. I'm so glad i did this, and 7 years on i still seek his guidance as a mentor and musician, thanks for your inspiration and education Ron.
At 16 i went to college and spent 4 years studying music performance, recording, theory, music history and acoustics. It was possibly the best 4 years of my life! I spent around 4 hours a day minimum playing with every band i could and dabbled in every style i could imagine. Add to that the constant group of friends all listening to and playing music... well, what more could you want!
After a couple of years out working as an Electrical Engineer i quickly realised that a 'normal' job wasn't for me and my love of music needed to be followed! Since the summer of 2006 i have worked as a professional freelance musician, working all around the UK and the Channel Islands, covering many genres in both studio and live situations. This has led me to continue my studies at Derby University, where i'm in my 2nd year of a Ba(Hons) degree in Popular music and Music technology.
I'm constantly developing my outlook to music and striving to improve my ability as a musician, composer and studio engineer/producer.
Professionally I am now looking at teaching drums to players of all levels and styles, offering anything from formal lessons (such as grades) to more informal guidance/groove development. All emphasis is placed on creating a bespoke lesson plan to allow all students to aheive their goals.

I hope you'll forgive a bit of shameless merchandising. I've just released a new CD. Still doin' the Jazz thing, but this is definitely not your father's organ trio!
CD Baby's got it; there are samples, links & digital downloads on my Myspace page.
Sikotick Records are proud to announce the release of Rocky Na$h’s debut single “Nailed Again” the track will be available for download only from January 28th 2008 from all the usual places. Expect to hear the track on the radio and see the awesome video on the T.V. shortly.
You can get a sneak preview of this track and others on Rocky Na$h myspace at Rocky Na$h
That's my new CD, "Deacon Blues", the straight ahead organ trio I've been wanting to do for years. It's getting great reviews and lots of radio play - and it's only Jazz; Go figure! The CD features some good friends, including two of my favorite guitarists, Mike DeMicco and the phenomenal Joe Beck. Danny Gottlieb lays down the groove with my brother Tony guesting on bass for a couple of tracks.
The CD is available on line at AMAZON.COM or at WOODSTOCK CD where they also have artist-signed copies in stock. (arguably making them worth less!)
Dropping by to say thanks for being our friend, we appreciate the support.
