1995 – Being a rather a late bloomer, Craig Elliott begins his love affair with music and picks up the guitar and almost immediately begins writing songs. By the end of the year and through the first week of ’96 Craig has penned his first 5 songs......................................................................................................................................................................................................................
1997/ 1998 - As founding member of Tawny Star, Craig Elliott and band recorded a 4 song demo at Rainbow Recording Studios in Niagara Falls, ON in a 48 hour marathon session conducted over only 4 days in January of 1998.........................................................................................................................................................................................................................
1998 - Craig Elliott moves to Alberta with Tawny Star drummer to pursue his dreams and finish recording their debut album. Craig dismantles band citing a "difference of direction."................................................................................................................................................................................................................
2003/2004 - Craig begins employment at the legendary "Hideaway" in St. Catharines mixing bands such as: Alexisonfire, Creekroad Crossing, The Trews, The Salads, and assisting with acts such as The Dears and Goddo.
- Having spent the past few years honing his recording and song writing skills Craig begins volunteering at a local recording studio in the fall of 2003 which quickly turns into a full-time position as House Engineer.
- Craig engineers Canada's Polka King, Walter Ostanek, leading him to a Grammy and Polka Hall of Fame nomination for Recording Of The Year for his album "Polkas United."
- Another polka recording engineered by Craig from Fonthill artist Kathy Zamjec Vogt is also nominated for Recording Of The Year & Button Box Musician Of The Year for her debut album "The Girl Next Door.".....................................................................................................................................................................................................................
2005 - Craig leaves his position as House Engineer to begin building his own facility – see www.craigelliottmusic.com
- Craig Elliott (engineer) and Tom Brusky (producer) of Kathy Zamejc Vogt's debut album "The Girl Next Door," accompany Kathy to the "2005 Polka Hall Of Fame Awards Show........................................................................................................................................................................................................................
2006 – Craig plays in local cover band “The Spinz” originally on bass for several months then jumps on as rhythm guitarist before hopping over to keys where he remains until leaving in January of 2007 to pursue better opportunities. Craig joins Lp3 as keyboard player to begin rehearsing for the ultimate cover act where he plans to take the Niagara region by storm along side his new band mates......................................................................................................................................................................................................................
2007 - Craig continues to produce/engineer mostly solo artists in his home facility www.craigelliottmusic.com where he provides full band services to the singer/song. Craigelliottmusic.com provides full spectrum music production where Craig plays bass, guitar, keys, programs drums and sings back up vocals when necessary to complete the project.
- Lp3 prepares to explode onto the local music scene in early ’07 Lp3 is currently rehearsing ferociously and concluding the set list and promo for what is sure to be an amazing journey with a great bunch of professional musicians sporting impressive repertoires of musical experience of their own.
