The Matt Zeiner Band is:
Matt Zeiner - Vocals, Hammond B3, Piano
Mike Bradley - Guitar
Jason Bernard - Guitar
Geoffrey Brown - Drums
Craig Garfinkel - Bass
Born: January 25, 1960 in Hartford, CT
Musical Oddysey: Began on the recorder in early elementary school. Mastered "Mary Had A Little Lamb" almost immediately. Wanted to play the drums, but most fortuitously Mom said "no WAY are you bringing drums into THIS house!" Chose trumpet instead. Kinda sucked...end of the 2nd Trumpet section. Volunteered to switch to Baritone Horn in Middle School. Much better. Middle School band director was a trombone and BASS PLAYER. Was given one lesson on upright bass. Bought an electric bass and joined the school Jazz Band. At age 13 joined first "garage band". Mom drove to rehearsals and gigs until age 16. Main reason Mom & Dad handed down the family station wagon. Made All State Band (on baritone horn) in High School, continued playing bass in Jazz Band, in numerous school productions, and numerous and gradually better "garage bands". Joined first legit working club band in 1977 at age 17. Upon high school graduation decided you couldn't get chicks with a baritone horn, so decided to study electric bass at Berklee College of Music. Still couldn't get chicks. Left after one year to study at the University of Miami for a whole semester. Quit school for good. Moved to Chicago. Moved back from Chicago. Lots of bands, lots of gigs. Joined Hartford area jazz/fusion/horn band Street Temperature. Finally got chicks. Lots more bands, lots more gigs. Finally started own band as a leader in 2000, Mystery Feet. Made two records...er...CDs, latest "Upstream" released in Oct of 2006. Currently playing in lots more bands with lots more gigs. One chick...the greatest ever to walk the earth. Can be seen and heard now in the Hartford CT area with the Matt Zeiner Band, Mosaic, the Bill Holloman Group and Bipolar Jukebox (as a sub). The saga continues...

Likewise, we had a great time, too. You guys are a fantastic band, and good people to boot. Let's make sure our paths cross again soon. Thanks for having us at Sully's.
Thanks for a great show, but most of all for the friendship and the laughs!=) Looking forward to June! I will have a whole bunch of good lines worked out by then! HAHA!!!!
I missed nothing! I went to see DB & GS last night and I will see you guys at Sully's. When I slack I always make up for it.;) I will be there with bells on! (and a bucket soliciting gas funds to get back home)
Sully's is in the cards! Not so sure about the PA show...it is a little over 4 hours drive there. When gas starts to cost me more than concert tickets, I try to stay local. However if you see me hitch hiking on 84 make sure you pick me up! HAHA!!!
