Books
Bukowski, Rimbaud, Burroughs, Selby, de Sade, Burgess, Joyce, Twain...authors that shook things up and poured their private heaven and hell straight from the heart to the page! Plus, I dig biographies...reading Christopher Lee and Valentino at the moment.
Heroes
People who take chances... people who are individuals and are unafraid to be themselves.
About me: First and foremost, I am musician (and lucky enough to be a very busy one). I love artistic works that are off the wall and take chances...I guess those are the type of people I'm drawn to as well. One thing for sure - I may live in a small city in the middle of Wisconsin, but I've lucked out with the unique array of friends and colleagues I have. That must be what keeps me coming home.
Who I'd like to meet: Peter Gabriel - he's the man, a true artist. Tom Waits - another true original. Robert Rodriguez - one of my favorite directors and a huge inspiration.
If I could go back in time, I'd want to go on a bender with Marquis de Sade...that'd be da shit!
