About me:

Craig Lemal was born in Edmonton Alberta, Canada where he has lived for the past 6 years. Brought up in a musical family, (his father was a guitarist in various cover bands) He started playing drums, guitar and keyboards simultaneously around the time he was 13 years old. Lemal started playing professionally at the age of 18 (in a Top 40 band that toured Canada) and starting recording in studios as a session player at 19. As a multi-instrumentalist playing drums, bass and guitar, Craig has performed over 1500 gigs Lemal has worked with 60+ bands including : Disciples of Power, , Brent Curran aka Recalling the everlasting, Adrian white aka Silent Alarm( Vortex), Tim Watterson, as well as the producers of The Schematics, Blacbeard, and Electric Mantra to name a few as a writer/producer/musician. His music has been played around the world on TV and radio. Craig joined Interdimentional Records industrial band Psychco kinetic Disruptor as Guitar player/co-writer in the fall of 1997. The Album was never released however; numerous tracks were released to various compilations including Black Planet vol 2. After Craig’s departure the band was revamped into Sangsara. Other projects include: Pinko, QED, Guano, Tenwaysfromnow, Get Bentt, Northwest Passage, Transmission, The kgb ,Dixonoxid aka Dixon Christy, Electric Mantra, Dead Mans Train Quietus, and Sufix. He also recently released his first solo record titled "Lemal" where he produces, records, mixes, writes, sings, and performs everything on the record. Apart from being a producer/engineer for Blister Productions (what he calls his "night job"), he spends time writing and recording with other bands and artists. 2000+ live sound gigs to his credits including: Malignant Growth, Jen Melitia, Cold Driven,Uncle Outrage, Slit Soul, The Skam, Homewreckers, Order of Chaos, Savannah, ShitGuts, The Lucifer Project, The Fools,In Due Time, Intensives. Production is complete on the new Abrasive Cell record "The Cage"in June 2009. Currently working with Old World Sparrows and First Aid Kit from Edmonton.2011 worthless and wizemore hit #4 in Canada on reverbnation. Bloodeaglez hit #56 on reverbnation metal charts in edmonton.
