  • Bio

Three terrific voices come together in one outstanding a-capella harmony group which has “an effortless range and variety unheard in folk music for many years” (Folk London). Moira, Sarah and Carolyn turn their hands (and voices) with consummate ease to dramatic traditional ballads, lilting love songs and the occasional cutting edge contemporary work; their glorious and often intensely moving harmony singing, combined with the warmth of their stage presence, has been aptly described as “a mix made in heaven”. Since their formation late on in 2003 they’ve been captivating audiences in Britain and the USA, and are now to be seen on the line up of numerous folk festivals, while their first CD “Peppers and Tomatoes” has been described as “A gem of an album” (Mick Peat, BBC Radio in the Midlands).

Moira Craig - from East Kilbride in Scotland, Sarah Morgan - from Hampshire, England and Carolyn Robson - from Hexham in Northumberland. We formed in 2003 - Moira and I had been singing as a duo, en route to forming a four part harmony group, but we never found the right two men! In the mean time, I was also singing with Carolyn, so when we were all booked for Whitby Folk Week it made sense to join forces, so two and two made three.
