My song for world peace "One Love One World" is currently featured on the United Nations project UNESCO's website www.newsongsforpeace.org I'm trying to do my part to help make this world a better place. My business partner and I just licensed the opening title theme song for the indie film "Miss Castaway" staring Eric Roberts and Michael Jackson! It's a comedy the director describes as a cross between Airplane and Baywatch, be on the lookout for it.
I recently moved to Florida, bought a house, just in time to experience THREE hurricanes! Talk about sensory overload. My house sustained quite a bit of damage, need a whole new roof, drywall, fence and other issues, ahhh fun in the sunshine state, hell I think I'll have an orange or two!
Out of the laboratory of Monkee Platez in Hamburg comes newcomer Eisa Dore with her deep and colourful track ENVI. The song develops a monotonic harmony and tells its own story of style through the interaction of the sluggish - almost break - beat and genuine minimal sounds.
The second highlight on the EP is the spaced out Superfly ellegantly combining synth pads, melodies and rhythmic elements. Furthermore Eisa Dore gives us Backstroke which takes you on a minimal trip through exciting sounds in a technoid cover. Just Listen!!!
To make the package complete Alex Fiction produced a loungy but strongly grooving remix to Backstroke. Just the right tune to catch some sun on these last days of summer and enjoy life...
Aus der Elektoschmiede von Monkee Platez kommt der deepe und soundlastige Track „Envi“ von der Newcomerin Eisa Dore aus Hamburg. Der Track entwickelt eine durchgehende Monotonie und erzählt durch das Zusammenspiel des schlappenden (fast schon break) Beats mit minimal eingesetzten klängen eine eigens stilvolle Geschichte. Der Remix zu „Backstroke“ kommt von Alex Fiction und fällt sehr loungig aber dennoch beatlastig aus. Genau die richtige Nummer um den Sommer an einem schönen Tag wippenden Fußes bei einem Cocktail ausklingen zu lassen.

Every Christmas season, I find myself wondering, what kind of a kid was Jesus? I mean, after he got himself out of the manger? We shot this video in 1992 with my daughter Willow. It's won some awards and is used in churches, temples & Sunday school classes. It addresses homelessness and caring for each other on this planet. It's called WHEN JESUS WAS A KID.
